Australian National University (ANU), is once again the No.1 university of Australia, as indicated by The Times Higher Education University Ranking 2006. The guide, published every October, sees ANU reclaim its position after University of Melbourne took the honours in 2005.

The year also sees ANU take the honour of being Asia's No.2 University, behind China's Beijing University. Position at No.23 in the world during 2005, the current status propelled ANU into No.16, outshining renowned peers such as Tokyo University (No.19) and National University of Singapore (No.19).

Established in 1946 as a research-intensive university, ANU's relentless pursuit of excellence has brought fourth favourable ratings in citations (research), peer appraisal, international faculty, and recruiter's review.

Fortrust Education Services is the Offical Representative of Australian National University. We would like to congratulate them on achieving this honour.
