- We offer a wide range of study programs, including:
- College Transfer: Study for 2 years at Seattle Central and
then transfer to a 4-year university to complete your Bachelor’s degree.
- College Bridge: This part-time college, part-time English
language program allows you to take the language classes you need, and
the college classes you want!
- Intensive ESL: Learn English and then enter college classes directly - there’s no college entrance testing required!
- Professional/Technical: Choose from more than 35 career training
programs (1 – 2 years) in exciting fields such as biotechnology and
apparel design.
- High School Completion: You can earn an Associate’s Degree AND high school diploma together through our Fast Track program.
- Short-Term Certificates: Study one subject of your choice for 3 – 15 months; add an internship, too, if you like!
- International Internships: You’ll receive academic training plus
guided workforce preparation, leading to a job in a local company.
- We offer $85,000 in scholarships for international students each year and an on-campus job-referral service.
- Our on-campus services and resources are vast, and include
academic advising, career, educational and personal counseling,
activities and trips, an Athletic Center, Computer Center, Library,
cafeteria, restaurants, Bookstore, convenience store, Art Gallery,
Performance Hall, Theatre, and new Science and Math Building.
- With 750 international students and one of the most diverse
American college student populations in the U.S. (as noted by TIME
Magazine), our students learn not only from textbooks and teachers, but
from classmates, too.
- International students are able to enter our programs four times
each year: in fall, winter, spring or summer. No TOEFL score? No
problem! You can take a placement test when you arrive at Seattle
Central, and our trained staff will find the program or level to best
suit your degree of English proficiency.
